Spaghetti TOXINS!

Man!  I have a problem!  I sleep walk!  I really do.  It sucks.  I have been taking my MC so serious, BUT last night I ended up with spaghetti in my mouth!!  Seriously!  I sleptwalked into the kitchen, grabbed a bowl of 4 day old spaghetti, and was in the middle of a bite when Miss Tickles licked my foot.  I woke up and said to myself, “What the hell am I doing?!”  At sunrise, I felt like a failure.  But it’s a new day.  The only thing I could do was start fresh!

This morning, I went straight to the sauna to eliminate some spaghetti toxins.  LOL.  Sweating is one of the best ways to detox your body.  I read that if you’re feeling aches or soreness while on the Master Cleanse it’s because of the heavy amounts of waste being released into your body as the cleansing process takes place.  Your body will naturally dispose of this waste, but you can help it almong by sweating some of that waste out in the sauna.  The sauna is also great for your complextion. ;) 

This is an iPhone pix of me this morning in the sauna at about 156 degrees.  I have a towel on because I thought that was standard for saunas.  I say “I thought” because some other lady joined me and you’ll never guess what she was wearing.  Actually, why don’t you take a guess… We’ll see if you’re right.

Well, I’ll talk to you later.  I’m headed down to the Hardware store so that I can install a deadbolt on my fridge.

The Master Cleanse: Day 3 with a Thai Massage

Day 2 was VERY difficult.  I’m glad I stayed strong because I woke up this morning feeling great!  I’m definitly having my moments of fatigue but after a couple swigs, my energy is back up.  

I also decided to get a massage today.  I read getting a massage during the MC will help to release waste that’s trapped deep inside your body tissues.  Instead of a traditional Sweedish massage, I tried out a Thai Massage for the first time.  Let me tell you, this was the BEST massage I’ve had in a very long time.  I wasn’t allowed to take any photos inside, but I was able to sneak a shot of the paperwork they had me fill out.  

Notice how I marked an X on my butt …lol… I don’t like my butt massaged!! LMAO… of course, they completely ignored me, but the way they massaged my rump felt nice so I’ll let it pass this time. :P

 Jay-Z is bigger than The Beatles.  His “The Blueprint 3” has sold 476,000 copies its first week, putting him at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart.  It’s Jay-Z’s 11th No. 1 album, making him bigger than Elvis too.  He now pushes ahead of Elvis Presley as the solo act with the most No. 1 albums.  The remastered Beatles catalog sold a combined 626,000 copies in the U.S. last week, as opposed to 21,000 copies of their catalog the week before. “Abbey Road” was the top seller.

Day 1 on The Master Cleanse wasn’t too bad.  I did have my moments of hunger pains and unusual thoughts of meal combinations.  It’s 9:08 p.m… . squeezing my lemons for tomorrow.

I’m sure most of you have heard of The Master Cleanse.  I tried this detox a few months ago.  Unfortunately, I only made it 4 1/2 days.  I’ve decided to try it again.  This time around, my mind is set on making it the entire 10 days so that I can receive the full benefits of this cleanse.  The Master Cleanse claims to be a way to cleanse the body of toxins and remove the cravings of toxic items.  I’ve been doing a lot of research on the MC.  I will be sure to blog daily and share with you more information and secrets about this detox.  Here goes … I am officially marking Day 1 on The Master Cleanse … . Scientists in South Korea created the world’s first transgenic female beagle dog carrying fluorescent genes that make it glow red under ultraviolet light.  The cloned beagle was named Ruppy (short for Ruby Puppy).

“What’s significant in this work are not the dogs expressing red colors but that we planted genes into them. The glowing dogs show it is possible to successfully insert genes with a specific trait, which could lead to implanting other, non-fluorescent genes that could help treat specific diseases, like Parkinson’s,” said Professor Byeong-Chun Lee.

I’m sure most of you have seen or heard of Kanye West’s classless hijack at the VMA’s.  He stole Taylor Swift’s moment when she won the award for the Best Female Video.  Here’s the video in case you missed it. 

Beyonce made things right at the end of the evening, when she won the Video of the Year.  Instead of giving her own speech, she talked about winning her first VMA as part of Destiny’s Child.  She said, quote, “I remember how excited I was.  I’d like Taylor to come out and have her moment.”  Here’s the video of Beyonce’s classy move …  :)
